CASS Latest

Following the implementation of the PS14/9 requirements, the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) recently published a draft Assurance Standard for CASS auditors.  The standard is designed to improve the quality of CASS audits and will require auditors to actually define the extent and nature of the work required for them to provide assurance.  With the Assurance Standard in place, both management companies and TPAs will know what to expect when engaging a CASS auditor.  The proposed new standard will be in place from 1^st January 2016 or earlier as adopted.
